Construction Estimator

Location: Miami, FL
Compensation: $75k to $130k annually
Full-Time

We’re looking for an experienced Construction Estimator to lead and manage estimating efforts for a growing General Contractor. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple bids while delivering accurate, competitive estimates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed construction estimates and budgets.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and review plans/specifications.
• Create ITBs and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Review subcontractor bids, scopes, and pricing.
• Develop bid comparisons, RFIs, clarifications, and cost breakdowns.
• Assist with hard bids, value engineering, and scopes of work.
• Manage multiple estimates and bid deadlines simultaneously.

Requirements

• 3+ years of construction estimating or construction management experience.
• Previous General Contractor experience strongly .
• Strong construction plan and specification reading skills.
• Experience with PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Excel, Outlook, Word, and Adobe.
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Bachelor's/Associate degree or equivalent construction experience.
• Experience with framing, drywall, finishes, or interiors is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
