Construction Estimator in Atlanta

An established commercial general contractor is expanding its Atlanta team and is looking for an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator. The ideal candidate will have strong estimating experience on commercial projects and the ability to develop accurate, competitive estimates from conceptual design through bid.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed estimates for commercial construction projects
• Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and bid documents
• Perform quantity takeoffs and solicit subcontractor/vendor pricing
• Develop competitive bids and project budgets
• Analyze subcontractor and supplier proposals
• Identify project risks, exclusions, and scope gaps
• Work closely with Project Management and Operations teams during turnover
• Participate in preconstruction meetings and client presentations
• Maintain estimating records and historical cost data

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of commercial construction estimating experience
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods and materials
• Experience with ground-up construction
• Healthcare, hospital, or medical facility estimating experience strongly
• Strong understanding of plans, specifications, scopes, and subcontractor bids
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines
