Duties
- Communicate professionally and effectively through email and phone correspondence
- Support office staff with various administrative tasks as needed
- Support the sales and construction teams through estimating functions
- Review plans and bid sets as needed
- Complete proposals and bid request
- Consistently produce high-quality, accurate work
- Correspond with architects, subcontractors, and customers
- Prioritize excellent customer service with quick response times
- Actively contribute to achieving company goals
Skills
- Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles with strong organizational skills, preferably in a construction or fast-paced office environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Basic knowledge of office equipment including printers and scanners
- Familiarity with QuickBooks for bookkeeping tasks is highly desirable
- Excellent computer literacy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills to foster positive interactions
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently through effective time management techniques
