With a reputation for quality and precision, we are expanding our team and looking for an experienced Concrete and Masonry Estimator to help us continue delivering exceptional results to our clients.

Position Summary

The Commercial Concrete & Masonry Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate, timely, and competitive estimates for commercial construction projects. This role requires deep knowledge of construction materials, methods, and costs related to concrete and masonry work, as well as the ability to read blueprints, analyze project plans, and collaborate with general contractors, architects, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.

  • Prepare detailed take-offs and cost estimates for concrete and masonry scopes.

  • Solicit subcontractor and supplier quotes; evaluate and compare pricing.

  • Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to better understand project scope and conditions.

  • Work closely with project managers and field teams to ensure alignment between estimates and actual project execution.

  • Maintain and update historical cost data and unit prices.

  • Track and review change orders and revisions to ensure estimates are up to date.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of estimating experience in commercial concrete and/or masonry construction.

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and codes relevant to concrete and masonry.

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents.

  • Experience using estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, PlanSwift, or similar).

  • Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple estimates simultaneously.

  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field ( but not required).
