Construction Estimator

Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator to join our team on a part-time basis, with potential for increased hours.  The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in training our staff in preparing and completing accurate estimates for commercial, government and federal contracts.

KEY RESPONSIITIES:

- Train and mentor staff in estimating procedures and best practices

- Prepare and review detailed, accurate estimates for commercial construction projects

- Analyze blueprints, specification, proposals, and other documentation

- Maintain up to date knowledge of local market conditions and pricing trends

REQUIREMENTS: 

- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in COMMERCIAL construction estimating

- Proven track record of high accuracy in estimating

- Strong knowledge of all commercial trades nd construction methods

- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore,or similar)

- Excellent communication and teaching skills

- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

- Strong mathematical and analytical skills 

- Detailed oriented with exceptional organizational abilities

QUALIFICATION:

BACHELORS Degree in Construction Management, Engineering  OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE
