We are a trusted and established service center, providing top-tier repair and service work to agricultural and construction equipment. We've built our reputation on a foundation of quality service and deep industry knowledge. We are currently expanding our service team and are looking for skilled mechanics to join us, working in either our state-of-the-art shop or providing critical field support to our customers.
Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics for full-time, benefits-eligible positions. Successful candidates will be responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of heavy construction and agricultural equipment. We have opportunities for both shop-based and mobile field service roles, and we are looking for problem-solvers with excellent technical and communication skills.
What You'll Do:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, inspections, and safety checks on customer and company equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using advanced diagnostic tools and software.
- Conduct complex repairs and component replacements on engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and more.
- Maintain accurate electronic records of all work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.
- Field Mechanics: Travel to customer jobsites in a company-provided service truck to perform repairs and maintenance in the field.
- Shop Mechanics: Work in our modern and well-equipped facility, collaborating with the parts and service teams.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
Equipment You Will Work On:
Our mechanics service a diverse fleet of equipment, requiring knowledge and expertise across both construction and agricultural machinery. Experience with the following is highly valued:
Construction Equipment:
- Excavators and mini-excavators
- Bulldozers
- Wheel loaders
- Graders and scrapers
- Skid steers
- Forklifts
- Articulated trucks
- Paving and compaction equipment
- Material handlers
- Cranes and aerial lifts
Agricultural Equipment:
- Tractors of all sizes
- Combines and harvesters
- Sprayers
- Hay and foraging equipment (balers, rakes, cutters)
- Planting and tilling equipment
- Attachments and implements
Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment or diesel repair.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical circuits.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and the ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Must own a complete set of standard/ metric mechanics' tools.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; a CDL is a plus.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, especially for field positions.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
