Job DescriptionJob Description
Coordinate the interface between the Contractors and the Project Team. Manage assignment with minimal leadership involvement or assistance. Assumes leadership monitoring and reporting for assigned tasks. Develops awareness of contractors and types of work. Ensures proper auditing in all aspects of work and safety. Responsible for communications with contractors.
Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Coordinates with plant operations and plant maintenance to assure that it is safe to proceed with the construction efforts.
- Manages and monitors assigned construction activities.
- Understands and coordiantes the Engineering Design Packages, Scope of Work, and Schedule. Ensures that Contractors are in compliance with the project’s requirements.
- Conducts and participates in safety audits, safety meetings and site safety programs
- Follow through with RFI’s and Change Orders.
- Participates with reviewing the construction schedule to monitor construction progress.
- Maintains the project punch lists to ensure the timely completion of the projects and for adherence to the project scope of work
- Coordinates the project turnover documents and ensures that changes and updates are properly documented. Makes sure that the changes are properly Red Lined on the drawings,
- Participates with project closeout, post project critiques and contractor evaluations
