Position: Construction & Design Associate

Overview:
Our client, a leading law firm, is seeking an Associate with 2-3 years of construction law, litigation, or government contracting experience to join its Construction & Design Practice Group in Seattle. The group represents public and private owners, general contractors, and engineers across a wide range of projects, providing counsel from pre-project planning and risk assessment through contract drafting, claims management, and dispute resolution.
Key Responsibilities:

Advise clients on construction and design-related legal issues across diverse projects

Draft, negotiate, and manage complex construction and engineering contracts

Handle claims management, risk mitigation, and dispute preservation

Represent clients in litigation and dispute resolution proceedings
Qualifications:

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
-
2-3 years of experience in construction law, litigation, or government contracting
-
Washington Bar admission required

Strong drafting, communication, and analytical skills
