We are looking for a Telescoping & Lattice Boom Crawler Crane Operator who must be skilled in safe operation utilizing the running of 35‐to‐200‐ton cranes. The ability to operate a wide variety of equipment in the area of excavation/bridge construction used in the building, maintenance and repair of bridges, roads, highways, parking lots, etc. To be successful in this role, the applicant must be a self‐starter, team oriented and willing to operate a variety of equipment when needed. Must be NCCCO Certified and maintain certification to qualify for this position.

Essential Functions:
- Operates heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in bridges, road, site, highway construction and excavation.
- Safe operation of 30-to-200-ton cranes used in but not limited to; concrete placement, rebar placement, material loading and unloading associated with bridge and large construction site projects.
- Able to understand, read, interpret grade stakes.
- Follow daily procedures and protocols as set forth in job orientations and training.
- Assists in training lower‐level employees performing the maintenance and repair duties as required or assigned.
- Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.
- Maintain daily logs of equipment usage, maintenance.
- Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and provides required reports. Communication to foreman/ superintendent regarding defects and needed repairs.
- Maintain and protect all property in excellent condition.
- Properly follow all state and federal agencies safety procedures.
- Promotes and complies with all company safety policies and procedures; brings problems to the attention of the foreman, project manager, safety director or HR manager.
- Maintain required certifications required by all state and federal agencies and company safety programs.
- Daily reporting of time, progress and materials used through electronic reporting, as
- assigned.

Required Education and Experience:
- NCCCO certified
- Three (3) years of experience in operating hydraulic cranes and other large equipment similar to industry
- Pile driving experience
- Sufficient education to make appropriate arithmetic equations and complete written documentation, or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training that provides the desired knowledge, skills, and characteristics
- Ability to work from construction specifications and blueprints
- Knowledge of the construction industry
- Valid driver’s license
- High School diploma or GED
Pay Range: $35-40/ hour paid weekly (depending upon experience) + per diem
10-hr shifts + OT
