Rate: $35/hour W2 + Federal Mileage Rate
Location: Westminster, MD
Travel: Field-based role (3–4 days per week) supporting Carroll County, Frederick County, and Baltimore County
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8am – 5pm
This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of new build projects, ensuring completion on time, on budget, and in accordance with our client's construction standards. The position supports permitting and design phases while managing full project lifecycle activities across aerial and underground coax and fiber construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full project tracking and reporting across construction projects
- Manage pole attachment and underground permitting, including tracking, verification, and coordination
- Handle invoicing, quality control (QC), and cleanup coordination
- Perform design verification and modification as needed
- Manage customer complaints and escalations
- Conduct pre and post construction walkouts and address verification
- Oversee drop crews and field crews
- Coordinate all MDU activities including agreements, coordination, construction, drops, and activation
- Manage ordering and inventory
Project Scope
- Create jobs in JT/Polaris
- Issue jobs to design
- Manage jobs through full lifecycle, updating milestones in JT/Polaris
- Handle exceptions to lifecycle SLAs
- Reconcile jobs (office)
- Create and approve funding requests
- Manage materials and reconciliation
- Research contracts and agreements
- Manage purchase orders and funding requests
- Support job estimating (finance)
- Manage quality control workflows
- Validate field QC completion
- Pull reports and provide analysis-based feedback
- Coordinate with specialists and permit coordinators to ensure milestone completion
- Follow admin QC checklist (materials, invoices, pictures, footage)
- Validate permit closure
- Set final invoice milestone
- Ensure all milestones are updated
- Close jobs
Skills & Requirements
- Experience supporting aerial and underground coax and fiber projects
- Knowledge of MOTs (traffic control and field setups)
- Ability to read and interpret system prints
- Proficiency with Outlook and Excel
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with large-scale projects
