Rich Construction LLC is a reputable and growing construction company based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We specialize in delivering high-quality projects with a strong emphasis on integrity, efficiency, and client satisfaction. We are seeking an experienced, skilled and detail-oriented Controller to join our administrative team and support our day-to-day financial operations.

Position Summary

The Controller will be responsible for managing financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, handling payroll, AIA billings, NMGRT reporting and payments, reconciliations, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience, with construction industry experience .

Key Responsibilities

   •   Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers

   •   Process accounts payable and receivable in a timely manner

   •   Perform bank, credit card and other account reconciliations

   •   Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

   •   Track job costing and assist with budgeting for construction projects

   •   Handle payroll processing and tax filings

   •   Maintain vendor records and ensure timely payments

   •   Support CPA with documentation for audits and tax preparation

   •   Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Requirements

   •   Minimum 5 years experience

   •   Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online 

   •   Construction industry experience is a plus

   •   Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general office software

   •   Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

   •   Ability to handle confidential information with integrity

   •   Strong communication and problem-solving skills

 •   Team-player attitude and proactive work ethic

   •   Must pass a background check and drug screening
