Job Description

Start your Construction career with Thames Water\n\nKick‑start your future as a Construction Assurance Apprentice, supporting the UK’s largest water and wastewater provider. You’ll support projects through design, build, commissioning, and aftercare—helping integrate new assets smoothly into day‑to‑day operations. \n \nWhat you’ll do: \n\nSupport construction assurance to meet time, cost, and quality targets. \nAssist with pre‑construction reviews and readiness checks. \nMonitor contractor safety, environmental compliance, and asset standards. \nHelp resolve site issues, non‑conformances, and deviations. \nWork with Operations Readiness teams to ensure smooth asset integration. \nHelp prepare and review RAMS, TWOSAS, and permits. \nTake part in audits and performance reviews, driving improvement. \nSupport planning, lookahead meetings, commissioning, and aftercare.   \nWhere you will work:  \n\nLocation: X2 Thames Valley- Hybrid at Clearwater Court Reading  \n\nHours: 36 hours a week across four working days plus one off-the-job training day,  \n\nStart date: Sept 2026 \n\nTraining and qualification: You’ll study with University of Built Environment, one of the UK’s leading training providers.
