Construction & Engineering Lawyer – Law Firm

We’re working with a leading UK law firm that is expanding its construction practice in response to increasing client demand. This team delivers a comprehensive range of dispute resolution and transactional advice across the construction and engineering sector. Their work spans everything from major international infrastructure projects to domestic construction contracts, offering exposure to a diverse and high-profile client base.

Clients include:

• Central government departments
• Household-name retailers
• Utilities (water, oil, gas)
• Tier 1 contractors and developers
• Housebuilders and social housing providers
• Universities and educational institutions
• Defence contractors, banks, and insolvency practitioners

The successful candidate will have:

• At least 1 year post-qualification experience in construction law (disputes, transactional, or both)
• Previous experience in a specialist construction legal team
• Exposure to development transactions/projects or dispute resolution (or a mix)
• Ability to work independently on straightforward matters
• Willingness to engage in business development and enhance technical knowledge
