We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an assistant superintendent for a Residential Home Builder. In this role, you will work closely with the Superintendent to ensure the successful completion of residential construction projects. If you have a strong background in construction and a passion for delivering high-quality homes, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

· Construction Oversight: Assist the Superintendent in the construction process, including material handling, ordering and returning construction materials.

· Subcontractor Management: Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and adherence to project schedules.

· Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship and materials meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

· Problem Solving: Identify and address construction-related challenges, proposing solutions to ensure the successful completion of the project.

· Customer Service: Ability to communicate with homeowners, addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the construction process.

· Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and permits.

· Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all workers on-site.

Qualifications:

· Construction Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in residential construction , including knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and building codes.

· Communication skills: To effectively coordinate and assist in supervising subcontractors and on-site personnel.

· Listening skills: Ability to follow directions, follow a list, and complete tasks on time and self-sufficiently.

· Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.

· Organization and Time Management: Effective organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.

· Customer Focus: Dedication to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring homeowner satisfaction throughout the construction process.

· Safety Consciousness: Strong commitment to safety and knowledge of safety regulations in the construction industry.

· Physical: Ability to handle and move lumber ability to use hand tools. Willing to do labor tasks such as sweeping basements, hosing floors and cleaning up jobsites as requested.

· Technology: Comfortable with technology; will be expected to learn BuilderTrend software and use daily.
