I am looking for a smart, mature, and dependable individual to join our team with experience in framing, drywall, electrical, plumbing, and/or painting who has an interest in learning how to be a Jack or Jane of all trades.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 1 year experience.
- Must have reliable transportation-this includes managing your finances well enough to have gas in your car

- Most jobs are in Springfield, MO and surrounding areas. Must be able to manage your time well enough to get to the different sites by 9am regardless of their distance from you.
- Show up on time every day-3 or more absences in a month will result in termination
- Have great communication as to your experience, comfort level, and understanding of the job
- Be able to lift 80lbs on occasion
- Be able to be on your feet and/or on the floor for long periods of time
- Know how to use a variety of tools
- Know how to accurately read a tape measure
- Work from 9-5/6 Monday through Thursday (I need your flexibility without abuse of my flexibility)
- Keep jobsite and work truck clean and organized
- Must be humble and teachable
Pay: $2800-3600/mo for a Monday-Thursday week depending on experience ($2800 being someone who needs constant direction, $3600 being someone who can do quality work with little to no supervision.) Paid biweekly. Bonuses will be given periodically for stellar communication with me and clients, working with me to sell clients on other needed jobs, and demonstrating an ability to think ahead consistently. Evaluations and possible raises will be conducted after the first 3 months, and every 6 months after that. Fridays for extra pay will often be available.
Culture: I am a Christian, woman-owned/operated company formed in 2018. I do not indulge cussing, drinking, or smoking on the job. You will mostly be working with me (the owner) and maybe one other person most days. I am 33yo, I’m outdoorsy, and most men struggle to keep up with me. We will be working in occupied homes. Being respectful and friendly with the clients and their belongings is a must. We do a variety of jobs including handyman lists, deck building, deck staining, bathroom and kitchen remodels, and whole house remodels.

- Applicants who have any theft or violent criminal records will not be considered.
Rules of Temple Remodeling
- You are expected at the work site 9am-5/6pm Monday through Thursday unless directed otherwise. Any more than 3 unexcused absences or shortening of your work day per month will result in termination. Any absence due to a failure to plan ahead such as needing gas in your vehicle will be unexcused. All requests made less than 4 days in advance will be unexcused.
- Do not use any material or equipment which is defective. Report any defective material or equipment to your superior.
- You are responsible to perform your work safely and efficiently. If you lack the knowledge and/or skill to complete your assignment, or have not been trained to operate the tools and equipment necessary to complete your assignment, it is your responsibility to inform your superior so they can provide the necessary training.
- Use personal Protective Equipment to safely perform each task.
- Report any unsafe activity and/or all accidents regardless of severity to your superior
- All employees are required to dress appropriately for the job. Sweatpants, see through shirts, cut off shirts, etc are not appropriate. Work shorts and tennis shoes are fine.
- Workers are required to have their own tape measure, pencil, knife, and hearing protection with them at all times.
- Workers are required to study the tool locations and make a best effort to put everything back where it goes at the end of every day.
- Workers are required to have good communication as far as their comfort, experience level, and understanding of various tasks.
