Construction Assistant Site Manager

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading residential developer who has an exciting new retirement flats project in Margate. They are seeking a motivated Assistant Site Manager to join the team and support the delivery of this high-quality development.



The Role:

As Assistant Site Manager, you’ll work closely with the Site Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the project. You’ll be responsible for coordinating trades, monitoring health & safety standards, and ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards expected in retirement living developments.



Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Site Manager in overseeing construction activities on site.



*



Coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are completed safely and efficiently.



*



Carry out regular quality inspections and snagging.



*



Ensure strict adherence to health & safety regulations.



*



Maintain clear communication with site staff, management, and external stakeholders.



*



Support project progress to meet programme deadlines.



About You:



*



Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager or Site Supervisor, ideally within residential construction



*



Knowledge of retirement living or apartment projects beneficial but not essential.



*



Strong understanding of health & safety regulations.



*



Excellent organisational and communication skills.



*



CSCS, SMSTS/SSSTS and First Aid qualifications desirable.
