LDA Builders, a local leader in Custom Home Building and Remodeling, has an immediate opening for a full time Construction Supervisor Assistant in the greater Cleveland/Akron area. We are a custom home building and remodeling company, that's been around since 1991. We build around 25 homes a year, along with some addition and remodeling jobs. We are looking for someone to do everything from general job site organizing / clean up to helping with minor carpentry work, to scheduling and preforming customer service work after the project has been completed. Experience , but we will train the right candidate! - Responsibilities include –Meet with the president and supervisor to discuss upcoming projects
- Go to construction sites as needed to organize and clean up
- Ability to do basic light carpentry and light excavation / landscaping work
- Pick up and deliver basic materials to job sites as needed
- Take inventor of materials at our shop and at job sites
- Help close out new homes and remodel projects under construction
- Power wash basement and garage concrete at new homes
- After the job is complete call customers and schedule service work
- Basic hand tools required, we will supply power tools as needed
- Vehicle required, with expenses reimbursed, truck

- Qualifications Include -Basic new home and/or remodeling knowledge / experience
- Written and verbal communication skills required
- Ability to read and understand basic construction drawings and documents
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize your work load
- Ability to work on your own with minimal supervision
- Ability to operate a Skid-steer and mini excavator a plus
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office programs a plus
