Brighton | Salary DOE | Flexible working and hybrid working, with up to 2 days working from home per week

Hunter Dunning is working with a multi-award-winning RIBA Chartered Architecture Practice with studios in Sussex & London. This Conservation Architect Job in Brighton will involve significant conservation and heritage projects, including Grade II* listed buildings, historic hotels, community assets and high-end private residential schemes.

\n

Your Experience

\n

    \n
  • ARB-registered Architect with several years' post-qualification UK experience
  • \n

  • Demonstrable experience delivering conservation and heritage projects in the UK
  • \n

  • Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation relating to listed buildings and conservation areas
  • \n

  • Good understanding of traditional construction methods, including masonry, timber, lime mortars and historic detailing
  • \n

  • Accreditation with Architects Accredited in Building Conservation (AABC) or the RIBA Specialist Conservation Register
  • \n

  • Experience working on Grade II* listed building projects
  • \n

  • Proficiency in Revit is desirable but not essential
  • \n

  • Able to work from the Brighton office 1-2 days per week, with the option to work from the London office part of the week
  • \n
