Computer Systems Analyst (ERP Programming / IBM iSeries) – Direct Hire

Cleveland, OH area | $70,000 – $100,000 | Direct Hire

One of our clients on the east side of Cleveland is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst to support ERP systems, internal applications, and business technology initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with IBM iSeries / AS400 experience who enjoys solving technical problems, improving business processes, and working across both legacy and modern technologies.

This position combines technical programming work with business systems support and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Support ERP and business systems used across the manufacturing operation
• Troubleshoot system issues and identify root causes
• Write or modify programs, queries, or scripts to improve system functionality
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Support integrations between ERP and internal business systems
• Work with business users to improve workflows and resolve system issues
• Analyze data and help identify operational issues or improvement opportunities
• Document system processes and technical solutions
• Train users on system functionality and improvements
• Help prioritize IT and business system projects

Required Qualifications

• Experience supporting ERP or business systems
• Strong technical troubleshooting ability
• Experience working with internal business applications
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate with both technical teams and business users
• Experience working in manufacturing or similar operational environments

Strongly Technical Experience

• IBM iSeries / AS400 experience
• RPG, RPGLE, CL, or DDS programming experience
• SQL experience (queries, reporting, or troubleshooting)
• Experience with ERP systems such as BPCS or similar platforms
• Experience with system integrations or data interfaces
• Experience supporting legacy business systems

Nice to Have

• Experience with OnBase or similar document management platforms
• Experience modernizing legacy systems
• Experience with reporting tools or automation
• Experience supporting multiple ERP environments
