Work Location: Washington, DC

Work Schedule (Onsite): Five (5) days a week onsite at the customer’s facility

Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled and proactive Senior Computer and Information Systems Manager to support and manage complex network environments within a dynamic technical infrastructure for an enterprise-wide insider threat solution. This role involves hands-on oversight of network systems, including routing, switching, and firewall management, as well as supporting secure user activity monitoring and behavior analysis platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in network troubleshooting across core OSI layers, demonstrate experience in maintaining virtual environments, and exhibit the ability to address and mitigate operational disruptions. A working knowledge of advanced routing protocols and architectures is also essential to succeed in this role.

This position is contingent upon the successful award of a government contract and subsequent government approval.

Requirements:

• Manage, configure, and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls to ensure optimal performance and security
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across the first four layers of the OSI model, maintaining high availability of network services
• Support the deployment, operation, and maintenance of user activity monitoring and behavior analysis tools
• Identify and respond to potential sources of disruption in network operations, implementing corrective actions and preventive measures
• Maintain and administer virtualized environments to support a scalable and flexible IT infrastructure
• Assist in the design and implementation of secure, reliable network architectures, including MPLS-VPN and VRF configurations
• Document configurations, procedures, and system changes by organizational policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project planning, implementation, and system upgrades
• Maintain compliance with applicable security policies and operational best practices

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be a United States and present proof of Citizenship, if selected
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Engineering or related technology field from an accredited college or university
• 7+ years of experience managing routers, switches, and firewalls
• Competent in troubleshooting and managing network infrastructure with the first four layer of the Open-Source Interconnection (OSI) model
• Experience with implementation, operation, maintenance of a User Activity Monitoring and User Event Behavior Analysis tool/platform
• Experience addressing and managing sources of disruption
• Experience implementing and working within virtual environments
• Functional knowledge of MPLS-VPN VRF routing and forwarding
