Job Description

JOB – Design Engineer / CAD Engineer

LOCATION – Northamptonshire

TERM – Permanent

SALARY – £24,000 – £25,000 per annum

My client work within design and manufacturing and they are looking to take on a CAD Engineer.

The CAD Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency with CAD software - ideally SolidWorks
• Have good technical/ engineering knowledge and experience
• Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
• Have excellent communication skills
• Time management skills

The CAD Engineer role will involve:

• Working within the engineering team on projects
• Modelling parts using SolidWorks CAD software
• Producing design proposals and engineered solutions to match the brief
• Ensure all drawings contain the relevant manufacturing data (BOM’s)
