About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Compressor Technician to join a growing service team supporting customers across a variety of industrial environments. This is a hands-on field service role focused on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining compressed air systems and other rotating equipment.
This opportunity is ideal for a mechanically inclined technician who enjoys solving problems, working directly with customers, and operating independently in the field. What You'll Do
• Service, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair rotary screw, oil-free, and oil-flooded air compressors
• Perform maintenance and repairs on pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment
• Identify equipment issues and recommend solutions that improve reliability and efficiency
• Generate repair, upgrade, and preventative maintenance recommendations for customers
• Complete accurate service documentation and maintain compliance with company standards
• Maintain service vehicle inventory, tools, and replacement parts
• Respond to customer service requests and emergency breakdown situations to minimize downtime
• Travel regularly to customer facilities and job sites throughout the assigned territory
• Build and maintain professional customer relationships while representing the company in the field
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in ongoing technical training programs
• Manage time effectively while working independently and prioritizing service calls
• Support additional service-related responsibilities as needed
What You Bring
• Experience servicing rotary screw, oil-free, and/or oil-flooded air compressors is required
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience troubleshooting industrial equipment
• Multi-craft maintenance experience is a plus
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently in a field service environment
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
• Physical ability to stand, bend, kneel, lift, and work in industrial environments
• Coachable mindset with a desire to learn and develop new skills
