Focus on piecing together essential hoist components, and let your skills shine as part of our assembly team. With attention to precise instructions and specifications, you’ll play a pivotal role in crafting both electric and manual systems.
Daily Responsibilities Include:
- Adhering to our stringent safety and environmental guidelines while performing your tasks.
- Cleverly planning assembly sequences according to provided instructions.
- Fitting metal pieces by cutting minuscule amounts for a perfect fit.
- Performing operations like drilling, tapping, or hole adjustment.
- Skillfully aligning components and securing them together with fasteners as needed.
- Testing the functionality of assembled parts by installing and moving parts like shafts and bearings together.
- Combining gear units in gearboxes smoothly to ensure efficient operation.
- Building crucial sub-assemblies including, but not limited to, transmissions and brakes.
- Transitioning between various assembly tasks within classification periodically.
- Mentoring teammates, sharing your expertise and techniques as guided by supervision.
- Additional duties to keep production flowing smoothly and efficiently.
Can You Bring These Skills to the Table?
- Adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing different units using numbers and fractions.
- Understanding and executing uncomplicated written and verbal instructions without difficulty.
- Handling routine physical tasks like prolonged standing and occasional lifting up to 40 pounds.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Previous experience and training would set you apart
- Capability to safely push/pull/lift 40 lbs.
Proficiency in these areas would be ideal:
- Comprehensive machine building and assembling
- Adept mechanical assembly skills
- Incredible blueprint reading capabilities
