Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Compliance Manager to provide full-suite SEC and entity compliance support during a critical period. The ideal candidate brings experience within private funds, with a bonus for those who also offer accounting or finance exposure.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance Operations & Regulatory Oversight

• Manage ongoing restricted list maintenance and ensure timely updates across the firm.
• Rewrite, update, and standardize policies and procedures to align with SEC expectations and organizational changes.
• Lead compliance activities for 150+ legal entities, including registrations, renewals, and ongoing monitoring.
• Coordinate with registered agents to ensure all corporate and regulatory filings are accurate and on time.
• Begin and support Form ADV evaluation and preparation immediately to meet the March 31 filing deadline.

Systems & Tools

• Utilize the firm’s compliance platform, MCO (My Compliance Office); experience with MCO is helpful but not required.

Experience & Background Requirements

• 3–7+ years of compliance experience within financial services.
• Private funds experience strongly ; equity fund experience is ideal.
• Strong understanding of SEC regulations, entity-level compliance, and firm-wide policy governance.
• Ability to step into a fast-moving environment, manage competing deadlines, and operate with minimal oversight.
• Bonus: Experience in accounting, finance, or fund operations.
