Job Description

Compliance Manager

Location: Munich

Our client is seeking a Compliance Manager to support the implementation and execution of compliance and governance frameworks while ensuring regulatory adherence and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support onboarding of new legal bodies into the compliance framework.
• Assist with compliance IT system implementation.
• Prepare compliance reports and documentation for stakeholders.
• Promote compliance awareness via training and communication.
• Execute compliance controls (e.g., KYC) and support risk projects with control testing.
• Coordinate legal change management with the legal team.
• Assist with governance documentation, audits, and data privacy tasks, including Privacy Impact Assessments.

Requirements:

• Degree in Business (MBA) and/or Law.
• 3+ years’ experience in compliance, legal, or related fields.
• Asset management experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with control testing is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills and cross-functional teamwork.
• Fluent in English; German is advantageous.
