Job Summary: The primary responsibility of the Compliance Manager is to provide support to all departments ensuring compliance of Health and Safety, ISO-9001:2015 and ASME through education and training. This includes training in all fabrication equipment and positions in the company.  The Compliance Manager will manage and support all QC staff including the Manager of Quality Control.  The Compliance Manager will be responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining department employees, as well as coaching and mentoring. The Compliance Manager will report directly to the CEO.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Serve as the Quality Health Safety Environmental Leader and technical expert
• Answer questions and resolve issues brought forth by the team members
• Monitor and determine various staffing and training needs
• Lead in Safety education and ensure compliance with ISN, Veriforce and OSHA requirements
• Lead and uphold ISO requirements and serve as the lead internal auditor once training is completed
• Maintain compliance with ASME Codes and Standards once training is completed
• Communicate and collaborate with other managers, suppliers, and contractors
• Evaluate controls efficiency and identify risks. Elevate issues to appropriate Director/Supervisor
• Identify, Improve, and implement productive and efficient company policies.
• Uphold standards of excellence and quality and Mueller’s safety program
• Oversee Quality Control department and DOT registration
• Create and update strategy to abide by legal rules and internal policy
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Management or Business Administration
• Effective communication skills
• Critical thinking and problem solving
• Leadership skills
• Delegation skills crucial to maintain proper staffing to perform applicable duties
• Exhibit a strong ability to manage multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energy
• Must be self-directed and have excellent initiative and organizational skills
• Works well meeting multiple deadlines with the ability to deliver on time
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast paced and demanding
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality program
• Ability to accurately read, review and interpret manufacturing and designs, drawing, schematics
• Knowledge about vulnerability/security
• Working knowledge of Inventor or other 3-D design/drafting and manufacturing software
• Proficient in MS Office Suite especially MS Excel, and experience with ERP/MRP systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent math, algebra, geometry skills/experience and manufacturing calculations
• Be able to uphold Mueller Environmental Designs Core Values

Physical Requirements and other items to communicate:
The ability to lift 50 pounds. Work in a fast-paced shop and general office environments. Many tasks have high degrees of time sensitivity. Domestic and international travel requiring mobility (on ground and heights) and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
