The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Administrative Services at the University of Illinois, Chicago (UIC), seeks a Compliance and Records Manager. This position is responsible for managing official university records related to behavioral threat assessment and management (BTAM), Clery Act compliance, and campus safety and prevention initiatives. This position ensures the integrity, security, and regulatory alignment of sensitive data while enabling informed decision-making across the university. Operating in a cross-departmental structure across the Office of Preparedness and Response, the Office for Access and Equity, and the Office of the Dean of Students, the manager facilitates interdepartmental coordination and plays a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and comprehensive records documentation, maintenance, retention, and analysis.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in public administration, public health, threat or risk management, social work or related field.
  2. Strong planning, operations, and continuous process improvement experience.
  3. Experience in building and maintaining collaborative relationships with various stakeholders.
  4. Ability to operate in high-stakes, multi-stakeholder environments.
  5. Highly developed analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  6. Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

The budgeted salary range for the position is $80,000 to $85,000. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity.
