Complex Security/Camera Systems Installation Technician

We are seeking a Complex Security/Camera Systems Installation Technician to join our team!
In this role you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic security systems.  Performing preventive maintenance requirements.  Performing inspections, evaluations, and inventory.  

Essential responsibilities and activities include but are not limited to:

• Install and program new alarm and security systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with alarms and security systems
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on alarm systems
• Monitor inventory of service parts
• Leading teams on small moderately complex installation projects.
• Conducting and documenting daily toolbox talks.
• Installing all head end and field equipment.
• Programming head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection and CCTV systems.
• Troubleshooting and isolating both systems and/or hardware at both a local and global level.
• Providing on-site software commissioning and testing.
• Performing inspections, evaluations, and inventory

Position / Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience in security installation, maintenance, or other related fields
• Familiarity with hand and power tools
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Please note that in pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires Legal & U.S. Citizenship status.
• Requires a Valid driver's license.
• Must pass customer background check after offer is extended.
• Education:

  HS diploma or GED

  Military Electronics Training

  Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program

  Minimum of three (3) recent, consecutive years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities

• Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.

·        Strong Oral, Written and Presentation Skills.

• Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills are a plus.

Desired / Advantageous Qualifications

• Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems
• Software House CCURE, Verint, MDI, AMAG Symmetry, Bosch BVMS, Bosch IDS, Hirsch, Intercom Systems AIphone, FFT, Honeywell Video &  Vindicator, and Proximex certifications and experience in installation of said systems.
• Lenel OnGuard Enterprise Security System certification
