Position Title: Solar Sales Branch Manager
Reporting Structure: Sales Director
Base Pay: $52,000 per year
Earning Plan: Uncapped commissions on personal sales and overrides on team sales, with an estimated earning potential of $150,000-$200,000 annually.
Job Classification: Full-time, exempt W2
Schedule: Full-time
Location: Chicago area
Attendance: 100% attendance required

Position Summary
Seeking an experienced Community Solar Branch Manager to lead our solar sales canvassing team in Chicago. This leadership role involves managing, training, and motivating a team to generate qualified leads through direct canvassing.
Key Responsibilities
Lead by example: Participate in field canvassing; initially spend significant time in the field, then shift to management roles.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and motivate canvassers to meet lead targets.
Coaching & Development: Conduct team meetings, roleplays, and coaching sessions.
Performance Management: Set KPIs, monitor activity, and ensure high performance.
Operational Oversight: Coordinate daily operations, assign territories, and track progress with CRM tools.
Strategy Development: Improve scripts and canvassing techniques.
Quality Control: Ensure leads meet standards and are properly entered into CRM.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Align field activities with company standards and analyze performance metrics.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure activities comply with laws, guidelines, and safety protocols.
Qualifications
1-2+ years door-to-door sales experience (home improvement, solar, telecom, etc.)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Data-driven decision-making
Proficiency with CRM and management software
Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Must have a cell phone and laptop
Experience in solar industry
Compensation Plan
Uncapped commissions on personal sales
Uncapped overrides on team sales
