Community Relations Manager - Low Carbon

Location: Boston, Massachusetts

Piper Maddox is working with a leading U.S.-based clean energy developer who is seeking a Manager of Community Relations to support its Low Carbon Generation initiatives.

This is an opportunity to work directly with the Low Carbon Development team to drive project development and lead community engagement across natural gas projects nationwide. You'll support outreach efforts for the company's existing operating assets.

You'll be part of an exceptional team, with the chance to work alongside experts in site development, public outreach, external affairs, and regulatory strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Connect with community members, advocacy groups, chambers of commerce, and other key stakeholders.
• Build public support and awareness through messaging and engagement.
• Support ongoing development and operations of natural gas projects as part of the company's low-carbon portfolio.
• Shape community strategies with internal teams across development, public affairs, and regulatory functions.

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of experience in community relations, public affairs, or stakeholder engagement tied to infrastructure or energy development.
• Strong communication skills, public speaking presence, and emotional intelligence.
• Calm in emotionally charged situations.
• Based in the Greater Boston area-or willing to relocate.
