Hiring for a Community Program Manager/Education and Engagement Manager in Lowell, MA.

Schedule: 4 days/week, Monday - Thursday, 9am-5pm
*After 60 days of training, role can be 2 days in office/2 days remote*

Pay: $28-30/hr based on experience

Vision:
1. Planning and coordinating public awareness, outreach and violence prevention in ways relevant to the community.
2. Managing and providing oversight for the programs and projects, focused on Black Women & Girls, Men Reducing Violence, Greater Lowell cultural community, LGBQ/T+, and Youth communities.
3. Delivering presentations and training at local, statewide, and violence prevention convenings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Program Leadership and Supervision

. Provide supervision and guidance to the team and interns, fostering professional growth and accountability.
•Support team by ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to effectively lead their programs.
•Identify and implement innovative strategies to align program goals with company's strategic aims.

Education, Prevention, and Outreach
•Develop, implement, and evaluate creative strategies for prevention outreach and education programs for diverse audiences, including school-aged youth, parents, educators, youth-serving professionals, and community members.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with key community partners such as school personnel, community groups, and local organizations.
•Represent company by participating in local, statewide, and committees and groups related to anti-racist practice, prevention education, and community building.
•Monitor the effectiveness of education, training, and outreach activities, and recommend improvements as needed.

Counseling and Direct Services
•Participate in coverage for the 24-hour hotline and medical advocacy services.
•Support web-based chat services for survivor access.
•Once trained, contribute to the delivery of company's internal RCC training.

Fundraising and Donor Engagement
•Design and support the annual fundraising plan with clear financial and donor engagement objectives.
Oversee individual donor cultivation and maintain relationships with current and potential donors.
•Build company's grassroots fundraising strategies with an emphasis on diversifying income.
•Coordinate with the Executive Director in managing donor and foundation relationships.
•Maintain donor databases to track engagement and acknowledgments.
•Assist with scheduling donor and foundation meetings.
•Collaborate with the communications team on donor appeals, marketing materials, acknowledgments, and follow-up.
•Attend community events as an ambassador for the company.
•Staff and support the Board Development Committee in advancing engagement and fundraising efforts.
•Perform other related duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s Degree in field of social work, psychology, community organizing, violence prevention or comparable lived experience.
•5+ years’ experience in the health and social service field
•2-4 years in program management/supervision
•Demonstrated experience developing and implementing culturally relevant programs for diverse cultural and linguistic populations
•Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, Google Docs, Bloomerang, etc.
•Expertise in program evaluation, outcomes, and measurement systems
•Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
•Experience with group presentations, providing training and technical assistance
•Dynamic community organizer, able to transfer knowledge to staff
•Excellent public speaking, presentation skill, and communication skills both verbal/written
•Bilingual in Spanish, Khmer and/or Haitian Creole, highly desired
•Trained RCC Counselor or ability to begin Rape Crisis Counselor training within 1 month of hire
•Proficiency in MS Office and professional experience with Social Media applications
