Position Summary

We are seeking a Commissioning Technician to join our expert technical team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, aligning, testing, and validating high-precision machining equipment both at our facility and at customer sites. You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and customer teams to ensure equipment is commissioned to exact specifications and delivers world-class performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, align, and commission advanced CNC, honing, and laser machining equipment.

• Perform machine setup, test runs, and operational validation according to engineering specifications.

• Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, gauges, calipers) to verify tolerances and quality standards.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues during commissioning.

• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to refine machine performance.

• Train customer operators and maintenance personnel on machine operation and care.

• Document commissioning procedures, results, and service activities in detailed reports.

• Travel to customer sites domestically and internationally (up to 50%).

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in machine installation, commissioning, or field service.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and GD&T.

• Skilled in the use of precision measurement instruments.

• Willingness to travel for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Experience with honing, grinding, or laser machining systems.

• Knowledge of CNC machine operation and programming basics.

• Prior customer-facing service or training experience.
