Position Title: Commissioning Technician

Salary Range: $127,000 - $135,000

Location: Onsite (Los Angeles, CA)

Type: Full-Time

Position: Commissioning Technician

Salary Range: $127,000 - $135,000

9. Duties:
9.1 Manage the commissioning process on various in-house small to medium sized projects
9.2 Perform Commissioning design reviews, submittal reviews and closeout document reviews
9.3 Create pre-functioning and functional checklists and commissioning plans
9.4 Conduct Commissioning meetings and managing the commissioning process for assigned projects
9.5 Perform field observations and functional testing
9.6 Document and track test results on issue resolution logs
9.7 Create commissioning deliverables such as final commissioning reports
9.8 Assist in the review and development of staff training and continuing education opportunities
9.9 Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Project Manager of Commissioning


10. Minimum Requirements Experience:
10.1 Eight (8) years full time paid professional experience in commissioning
10.2 Working knowledge of building code, CHPS, and commissioning requirements
10.3 ANSI commissioning certification (CxA, CxT, BCxP, Certified Commissioning Professional)
10.4 Extensive knowledge of building, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems
Education:
10.5 Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree, preferably in
mechanical or electrical engineering, architecture or construction management

Qualifications:
10.6 Experience in design or construction management with a focus on mechanical systems
10.7 Engineer-In-Training Certification or valid CA Professional Engineering License
10.8 Industry- recognized energy management certification
