Job Description

MEP Commissioning Manager – London & South UK


  • Location: Ideally based in the South of the UK, with travel to projects across London and the surrounding region
  • Company: Crosscount Ltd
  • Start Date: ASAP / depending on availability


Due to planned expansion, Crosscount Ltd is seeking an experienced MEP Commissioning Manager to join our growing London team. This is a key opportunity to join a well-established, specialist consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality commissioning services across the UK.

Role Overview

You’ll be responsible for managing the full commissioning process for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across a range of commercial building projects. From strategy development through to site execution and final handover, you will work closely with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure systems are delivered to specification and performance expectations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the commissioning of MEP systems on site
  • Develop commissioning plans, programmes, and scopes of work
  • Review technical documentation, drawings, and submittals
  • Monitor progress, identify issues, and maintain clear records
  • Attend site and client meetings as required
  • Prepare technical reports and commissioning documentation
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and project standards


Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience managing the commissioning of MEP systems
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Well-organised with good communication and coordination skills
  • Able to manage workload independently while working as part of a wider team
  • Willing to travel to sites across London and the South of the UK
  • CSA Commissioning Manager accreditation but not essential
