Commissioning Engineer\n\nCommissioning Engineer – Thames Water Projects\nSalary: £50,000 – £60,000 + car allowance + benefits\nLocation: Thames Valley Region\n\nWe’re looking for a Commissioning Engineer to join a tier 1 contractor delivering key Thames Water projects. This role will see you play a vital part in managing and delivering commissioning across mechanical, electrical, and public health services.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs a Commissioning Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:\n\n * \n\n Preparing commissioning plans, procedures, and strategies.\n\n * \n\n Reviewing designs, specifications, and technical submittals.\n\n * \n\n Attending site commissioning meetings and progress reviews.\n\n * \n\n Ensuring compliance with statutory authorities and client sign-off.\n\n * \n\n Managing snagging issues and post-completion commissioning support.\n\nWhat You’ll Need\n\n * \n\n Background in commissioning within water/utilities projects.\n\n * \n\n SMSTS/SSSTS and CSCS essential.\n\n * \n\n Strong communication and problem-solving skills.\n\n * \n\n Willingness to travel across the Thames Valley region.\n\n * \n\n Proactive and collaborative approach.\n\nPackage\n\n * \n\n £50k – £60k salary\n\n * \n\n Car allowance\n\n * \n\n 26 days holiday + bank holidays\n\n * \n\n Pension matched up to 8%\n\n * \n\n Private healthcare\n\n * \n\n Life assurance & flexible benefits\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commissioning Engineer to progress your career on large-scale Thames Water frameworks.
