We are delighted to be working with one of the most successful engineering firms operating within the Scottish Water Framework. Our client, an internationally recognised and forward-thinking organisation, is expanding their MEICA delivery team in Scotland and is seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join their Glasgow office.



As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be at the heart of delivering projects that make a real impact.  You’ll take responsibility for the installation, commissioning, and handover of all MEICA elements across a diverse portfolio of water and wastewater projects.



Key Responsibilities



Carry out on-site commissioning activities across a range of projects.

Prepare and deliver commissioning completion reports and project updates.

Ensure all commissioning is conducted in full compliance with safety standards.

Develop detailed commissioning plans during both pricing and design phases.

Produce all required commissioning documentation in a timely manner.

Work closely with Scottish Water CSD staff to ensure smooth asset integration.

Oversee off-site testing and pre-commissioning activities.

Adhere to rigorous change control processes.

Share best practices and contribute to team knowledge development.

About You



ONC/HNC (or equivalent) in electrical, mechanical, or ICA engineering – or extensive relevant experience.

Proven site-based commissioning and installation (M&E) experience, ideally within the Scottish water sector.

MEICA-qualified engineer with strong technical knowledge.

Working knowledge of Profibus (desirable).

Familiarity with WIMES standards and telemetry systems.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
