Commissioning & Controls Automation EngineerRemote, Hybrid, Permanent work with a forward thinking companySalary is negotiable around £60k - £70k per year DOEDo you want to work in a rapidly growing, sustainable company who have ambitious growth plans?Monday-Friday 40 hoursBenefits package· 31 days paid holiday· Ongoing personal development programme to develop your career and potential.· Enhanced pension scheme 4% contributed.· Private healthcare (bupa).· Death in Service x2.· Profit share bonus scheme, paid bi-annuallyAbout the Role As a Commissioning & Controls Automation Engineer, you'll lead and support the delivery of full project lifecycles, from control system design and specification to commissioning and technical support, on complex lifting systems.Key Responsibilities:Programming, fault-finding, and support of PLC and electrical control systemsDevelopment and review of PLC logic, FDS documents, and design specificationsRetrieval and reverse engineering of existing PLC codePreparation of documentation, workpacks, and certificationCreation and execution of Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with client representativesFull project engineering and management of automation scopesConduct onshore and offshore site surveys and commissioningEnsure adherence to HSEQ standards and contribute to safe systems of workProvide clear technical instruction to project personnel and subcontractorsEssential Requirements Degree or equivalent in Automation, Electronics, or Mechatronics (HND/HNC/NVQ Level 3 with experience also considered)Hands-on experience with Siemens TIA PortalWorking knowledge of SCADA systemsAt least 5 years' experience designing and maintaining PLC/electrical systemsExcellent organisational, analytical, and communication skillsStrong understanding of offshore HSEQ standardsFamiliarity with crane and lifting systems (onshore or offshore)Proficient in MS Office software including Excel, Project, and WordComfortable working independently with minimal supervisionAt Venatu Recruitment Group, your right to privacy is important to us.
