Join the ChillMaster team as a Commercial Service Technician and take the lead on start-ups, troubleshooting, and field service for modular chillers and heat pump systems. This role is for an experienced HVAC/R professional (5–10 years) who can bring systems online, solve complex issues, and work confidently in the field.

You’ll report to our Murfreesboro, TN office Monday–Friday, with up to 75% travel, including overnight stays as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Perform system start-ups on modular chillers, heat pumps, and heat recovery systems, including pre-start-up calls, documentation, and scheduling aligned with project timelines
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant system issues
• Handle scheduled and emergency service, including diagnostics and preventative maintenance
• Maintain accurate records of all service work, start-ups, and warranty activities
• Coordinate warranty calls and ensure timely resolution
• Support and promote extended service agreements (Tera service)
• Report recurring field issues to product development for improvement opportunities
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures on every job

​Qualifications:

• 5–10 years of experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration
• EPA Universal Certification (required)
• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and independent work ethic
• Strong communication skills; able to interact with contractors, reps, and internal teams
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time for field service and start-ups​​​​
