Job Description:
Carolina Voltage is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Representative to join our team and contribute to our growth and success. As a Commercial Service Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, promoting our services, and driving sales growth. You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing leads, and closing deals. Your expertise in electrical services and your exceptional communication skills will be essential in understanding clients' needs and providing tailored solutions. We welcome professionals with backgrounds in Commercial Property Management, Commercial Brokerage, or Industrial Sales as well.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new leads through networking, cold calling, and in-person meetings.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential clients.
  • Understand clients electrical needs and offer appropriate services and solutions (training provided).
  • Prepare and present sales proposals to clients, addressing their specific requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals as needed.
  • Collaborate with operations team to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives measured in both revenue and meetings set.
  • Consistently monitor industry trends, competitor activities and market developments.
  • Coordinate with General Manager to develop and execute strategies to drive sales, enhance profitability, and improve customer and employee satisfaction.
  • Uphold our commitment to excellence, delivering exceptional service to clients and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Industry trend and account training provided.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of sales experience in Commercial sales or a related industry (bonus for electrical sales experience)
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Working knowledge of Electrical systems and services or willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiastic about data and the use of CRM.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft office suite, email, texting and laptop/tablet.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Customer-focused with a dedication to delivering exceptional service.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week. Overtime work may be necessary to meet customer demands and client needs. Limited weekend time might be necessary.
