Commercial Sales Estimator/Project Manager

The Commercial Sales Estimator/Project Manager (PM) is responsible for completing and providing accurate bids to customers in a timely fashion while seeing projects to completion. This role is also responsible for selling profitable scopes of work to new and existing customers and will be expected to meet/exceed a quarterly sales quota. The Commercial Sales Estimator/PM reports directly to the Commercial Sales & Estimating Manager.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Pursue new business in the Commercial sector by building relationships, attending industry trade shows, having face to face meetings with GC’s and presenting AllSource Construction’s Value Proposition
- Manage bidding and sales activities including using customer specifications and plans to build take-offs and quotes, and submitting and tracking bids
- Update Knowify (CRM) daily with new leads, bids and contract status updates including dollar values; Provide weekly sales forecast and bid status updates to Commercial Sales & Estimating Manager
- Review contracts for scope and dollars and return fully executed contract to customer within (5) business days of receipt
- Package and deliver timely and accurate submittals packages for customer approval
- Participate in weekly meetings to review active projects and discuss production schedule; update active jobs list on a weekly basis
- Coordinate with Project Administrator to procure project materials ahead of deadlines
- Coordinate with Project Management team to schedule installations or deliveries ahead of deadlines
- Be the expert on the competition and how to position AllSource Construction to win projects with new & existing customers.
- Source new products when needed for job quotes
- Provide a positive work environment by demonstrating the company’s core values and effective leadership qualities on a daily basis
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in estimating, proposals, project execution or business development
- Previous sales experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, i.e. Excel, QuickBooks, and project management software or programs
- Knowledge of Division 10 construction specialties products, and experience reading plans beneficial, but not required
- Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and on a team
