We're searching for a Commercial Sales Estimator who can bring accuracy, insight, and customer focus to every project. Pay: $75,000/year base plus commissions with a total compensation goal of $100,000/year or more. There is no cap on commissions.

Position Summary:

The Commercial Sales Estimator is responsible for accurately estimating HVAC system installations for commercial projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, cost analysis skills, and the ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and project requirements. The Estimator will collaborate closely with the commercial sales and project management teams to ensure proposals are competitive, profitable, and aligned with Jacobs' standards for quality and integrity.

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing construction plans, specifications, and site conditions to prepare detailed and accurate HVAC estimates
• Collaborating with engineering, project management, and installation teams to develop comprehensive project scopes
• Building relationships with general contractors, mechanical engineers, and vendors to ensure competitive pricing and partnership opportunities
• Preparing bid documents, proposals, and presentations for clients
• Tracking project opportunities and maintaining organized records of bids and estimates
• Participating in pre-bid meetings and project walk-throughs as required
• Ensuring estimates align with company financial goals and customer satisfaction standards

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC estimating, design/build, or related construction field
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, blueprints, and project specifications
• Excellent analytical, math, and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple bids and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (ServiceTitan experience a plus)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
