JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Complete projects on time and within budget, while ensuring that roofing teams work in safe conditions.
• Work closely with the Production Manager and Superintendents on each project.
• Responsible for planning and controlling every stage of roofing installations or repairs on commercial properties for multiple concurrent projects.
• Projects are located throughout Baltimore and surrounding areas; must be willing to visit multiple sites.
• Projects include retail facilities, schools, hotels, office complexes, strip malls and free-standing buildings.
• Determine materials required for each project and devise delivery schedules.
• Supervise teams and inspect the quality of work to ensure standards are met.
• Ensure full compliance with all safety guidelines.
• Prepare and deliver reports detailing the progress of all roofing work.
• Manage and keep job status up to date at all times.
• Keep schedule up to date, forecast coming up on a monthly basis and keep track of crew locations.
• Be the main source of contact both internal and external.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have at least two years of experience working on commercial projects.
• Demonstrated effective supervisory skills and have the ability to motivate and direct actions of others.
• Critical skills including planning, organizing and problem identification and resolution.
• Strong attention to detail and experience working with Microsoft Office products.
• Possess experience in project costing and planning.
• Outstanding communication skills and proven ability to work under minimal direct supervision.
• Bachelor's Degree is a plus, but not a requirement.
