Commercial Roofing Inspector/Estimator

Overview:
Elliott Roofing is seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Roofing Inspector/Estimator to join our growing team. This role is responsible for performing comprehensive roof inspections, identifying issues, estimating repairs/replacements, and delivering accurate, professional proposals. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and thrives in a client-facing role.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct thorough on-site commercial roof inspections using industry best practices

· Identify damage, defects, or maintenance needs across TPO, EPDM, PVC, metal, modified bitumen, and other systems

· Diagnose leak sources and assess roof condition based on code, wear, and Oklahoma’s climate/weather patterns

· Accurately estimate project costs including materials, labor, equipment, and permits

· Prepare and deliver clear, detailed proposals that communicate scope of work and value

· Build strong client relationships through honest communication, education, and professionalism

· Collaborate with operations and production teams to ensure smooth handoff and customer satisfaction

· Maintain accurate records using CRM software and ensure adherence to OSHA safety guidelines

· Create and manage Pay Applications in alignment with project contracts and billing schedules

· Assist with project financial management, ensuring budgets, cost tracking, and payment milestones are met

Qualifications:

· 3+ years of experience in commercial roofing inspections and/or estimating

· Strong technical understanding of commercial roofing systems and repair methods

· Proven ability to write clear and compelling proposals

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Familiarity with local codes and weather-related roofing considerations in Oklahoma

· OSHA 10/30 certification ; manufacturer certifications a plus

· Experience with CRM tools (e.g., AccuLynx or similar)

· Valid driver’s license (company vehicle provided)
