Job Description: LEAD Staffing is currently seeking experienced commercial office building maintenance technician. They are looking for someone with an unrelenting passion to maintain and improve the look and quality of craftsmanship of our commercial office building. A commercial office building maintenance technician with experience in all aspects of commercial and residential repair & maintenance, construction, renovation, custom carpentry, landscaping and all other skills required to maintain and improve properties in the most pristine condition. Your attentiveness to detail will help you complete tasks in an efficient and high-quality manner. In addition to small maintenance and repair projects, you will also perform larger projects as planned in our capital budget. This full-time job is located near Brandon, FL This position is perfect for someone who has a desire for absolute perfection in anything they touch.

Duties:

• Implement and execute an effective preventative maintenance program. Maintain a punch list inventory of items requiring attention, areas for improvement, ideas for better engineering and aesthetics, etc.
• With an eye and ability for perfection, repair and maintain all aspects of office building, working through a punch list of tasks requiring attention
• Perform carpentry work including framing, installation of drywall, flooring, roofing, plumbing, etc. to complete remodeling and restoration project in accordance with accepted industry standards
• Ability to do electrical and low-voltage installations under supervision
• Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment necessary for carpentry work
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Experience:

• Expertise in all facets of construction, remodeling, and repair and maintenance
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the building trades i.e. carpentry, interior renovation, plumbing, electrical, painting, landscaping and/or related field(s)
• Experience with flooring installation, custom tile work, drywall, painting, and roof & gutter repair, window & door installations, HVAC
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
• Unrelenting attention to detail, perfection and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Trade school, technical college, military training, engineering degree, or equivalent higher education required
• Experience doing custom carpentry building closets and book cases with the finest materials
