Commercial Lead – Passive Fire Protection



Manchester



£50,000 - £70,000



As part of our client's continued expansion, we are seeking a commercially astute professional to oversee the commercial delivery of passive fire protection projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic business with a robust pipeline of specialist works, offering stability, progression, and a supportive team environment.



Key Responsibilities:



· Manage the full commercial lifecycle of passive fire protection projects



· Oversee procurement, valuations, change management, and final accounts



· Ensure cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting are accurate and timely



· Liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal delivery teams



· Drive commercial best practice and contribute to continuous improvement



· Support compliance with all industry regulations and safety standards



What We're Looking For:



· Proven experience within the passive fire protection sector – particularly firestopping and fire door systems



· Strong commercial understanding, ideally with a background in construction



· Knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts



· Excellent attention to detail and financial acumen



· Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills



· A proactive, solution-driven approach
