Commercial Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor sought, Stafford / Birmingham. Bekk R Solutions are proudly working alongside a MEP Contractor seeking further commercial support with the addition of a Commercial Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor (MEP / Building Services Engineering) to join their midlands-based hub overseeing a number of schemes, initially including a circa £20M MoD scheme in the region. Applicants will be required to have / obtain security clearance.\n\nDay to day,\n\n * As commercial Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take the commercial lead for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) packages across multiple projects.

You’ll be involved from pre-construction through to final accounts, ensuring accurate reporting, cost management, and contractual compliance throughout. Key responsibilities include:\n\n * Leading MEP commercial delivery from tender through to final account\n\n * Producing accurate and timely commercial reports\n\n * Supporting risk and opportunity strategies\n\n * Managing valuations, cost control, and change management\n\n * Providing commercial guidance to project teams and senior management\n\n * Assisting in supply chain selection and pre-construction planning\n\nWhat you’ll need to succeed,\n\n * Proven experience as an MEP Senior Quantity Surveyor (Building Services Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / HVAC or Electrical Engineering)\n\n * A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related commercial discipline (or equivalent experience)\n\n * Ideally working toward or holding professional membership (e.g., RICS, CIOB)\n\n * Strong understanding of commercial and financial management systems\n\n * A track record of delivering MEP packages on large-scale projects\n\n * Previous experience in sectors such as education, healthcare, leisure, custodial or defence\n\n * The ability to manage other quantity surveyors and work collaboratively across teams\n\n * This role offers long-term career development, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to work on some of the region's most exciting construction schemes.\n\nIn return,\n\n * We are offering a competitive package to include a basic of circa £80,000 - £95,000 DoE, car, pension, medical and various there on as you’d assume of a leading Tier 1 Contractor.\n\nInterested?
