Commercial Maintenance Technician

Hobbs Properties, a family owned company, is seeking a full-time Commercial Maintenance Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate has 1–5 years of Commercial Real Estate or related experience and will support our Property Management team under the Facilities Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities:
• Perform interior and exterior repairs and preventive maintenance for office and retail properties.
• Handle HVAC, electrical, plumbing, safety, and general building maintenance.
• Use automated systems to complete work orders and maintenance requests.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure high-quality work.
• Maintain property appearance through light janitorial tasks and vendor oversight.
• Provide after-hours on-call support and follow safety protocols.

Requirements:
• Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
• Strong communication and basic computer skills.
• Valid NC driver’s license, vehicle, protective boots, and ability to pass screenings.
• Ability to perform physical work, lift up to 60 lbs, and work in various conditions.
• HVAC certification (or willingness to obtain).

Reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused with a “can-do” attitude and strong problem-solving skills. Training is available for mechanically inclined applicants.
