Duties:

Manage all phases of complex commercial litigation, including factual investigations, discovery, pleadings, depositions, motion practice, and settlement negotiations.

Represent clients in state and federal courts, with potential involvement in administrative proceedings and arbitrations.

Develop and implement case strategies, ensuring thorough preparation and strong advocacy at every stage.

Communicate directly with clients to provide strategic legal guidance and updates.

Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups and business units to address multifaceted legal issues.

Draft and argue motions, prepare witnesses, and participate in settlement discussions.

Maintain meticulous attention to detail and ensure compliance with all procedural requirements and deadlines.

Required Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Active license to practice law in California or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.

6–8 years of commercial litigation experience, ideally gained at a reputable law firm.

Strong background managing discovery, depositions, and complex motion practice.

Excellent written and oral advocacy skills with the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.

Proven experience working directly with clients and handling settlement negotiations.

Demonstrated sound judgment, initiative, and the ability to thrive under pressure.

Strong academic credentials and dedication to professional excellence.

Compensation and Benefits:

Base salary range: $225,000 – $260,000, commensurate with experience.
