Ottawa Kent Insurance is hiring!

Are you a driven Account Manager / CSR who wants to:

• Help businesses protect their employees and operations
• Create win-win relationships with underwriters
• Use your customer service ability to grow a local agency

In this role you will serve an existing book of middle market clients in a variety of industries, ranging from construction to manufacturing to retail.

Compensation and Benefits for this role include

• Salary based on experience, plus the opportunity for profit-sharing bonuses based on agency results

To be successful in this position, youll need to be:

• Licensed as a Property and Casualty insurance agent
• Experienced in Commercial insurance (minimum of 1 year required, 3+ years )
• Motivated by getting things done and checking off your To-Do list
• Great at helping clients over the phone, in emails, or in person in a timely manner
• Comfortable with computers and software - knowing Applied Epic is a BIG plus, but not required

As an Account Manager at Ottawa Kent, youll be expected to:

• Retain current clients
• Share technical expertise about insurance - products, coverages, client needs, forms, and proposals. Youll be involved in both New and Renewal marketing.
• Complete day-to-day Commercial Lines Workflows - confirmation of binding policies, certificates of insurance, endorsements and audits.
• Grow accounts by seeing cross-selling opportunities (Business, Personal, Life, Benefits)
• Prepare proposals and summaries of insurance in both our agency management system and insurance carrier rating systems.
