General Job Description: The Assistant Account Manager I is the first step in a three-step career path to becoming an Account Manager. This role provides foundational support to Account Managers by assisting with account service needs and processing tasks. The primary responsibilities include data entry and customer service, ensuring a positive experience for clients and efficient operations within the commercial lines department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Creating & processing endorsements
• Issue proofs of insurance including certificates, evidences, and auto ID cards
• Obtain loss runs
• Physically bind renewal proposals
• Document retrieval
• Process client payments
• Back up to Administrative Assistants
• Manage the entire account-service process for the assigned Book of Business with professionalism and accuracy
• Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma/GED required
Technology Skills:
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
• PC Computer, including strong typing skills
Other Skills & Competencies:
• High level of integrity
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Takes responsibility for own actions and decisions
• Works well in a team environment and independently
• Has common sense and is able to listen to and follow directions
